CHANCE 2026 was Wednesday, April 22nd 11:30am to 1pm at the Scott Conference Center

The 2026 CHANCE luncheon is our only fundraising event of the year. The proceeds provide private K-8th grade scholarships for low-income children. More than ever, your support of Children’s Scholarship Fund is critical for these schools and children who are counting on you.

Keynote Speaker

Josh Dotzler, CEO of Abide Omaha

Josh Dotzler is passionate about the power of purpose. When individuals leverage the power of purpose to be a force for good, lives and communities experience transformation. Josh has spent his professional career as a pastor, CEO, author and leader using his skills as a point guard on the basketball court to point people toward their purpose. Josh has been a speaker for over 15 year and brings a high-energy, experiential communication style. Josh and his wife of 17 years, Jennifer, have four children, Joshua, Joseph, Julianna, and Jada.

What does your gift support?

A 501(c) 3 organization with no religious affiliation, Children’s Scholarship Fund provides partial-tuition scholarships so children from low-income families can access the private K-8 education of their choice.
• Families apply directly to CSF and can choose any of our 70 partner schools across the Omaha Metro and northeast Nebraska. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of financial need and our application screening process verifies need through tax returns, state and child support financial documents. You are assured your donations are helping those who need it most.
• If a family decides to switch private schools (within the counties we serve), the scholarship will follow the student.
• In the 2024-25 school year, Children’s Scholarship Fund provided scholarships to 1,370 children, totaling $2,149,706.50.
• Since its inception, the Children’s Scholarship Fund of Omaha has awarded over $47 million to students in need.
